The UpdateWizard is a Composer tool used to update the configuration of existing objects by applying a Template to them.
It is accessible to all users, independent of user rights.
Use the Update Wizard to apply a Template to:
Before you use the Update Wizard, familiarize yourself with Templates. For details, see Working with Templates.
To update one or more Axway Servers, open the Tools menu in the Topography workbench and select Update Wizard.
Screen 1 displays the options that you can select. In the Topography workbench, Axway Server is the only option available and is selected by default.
Click Next to continue.
Screen 2 displays the possible Templates that you can select to apply to the Axway Servers that you want to update.
Select a Template from the drop-down list and click Next to continue.
Screen 3 displays enables you to specify whether you want to apply the Template on one or more individual Axway Servers, or one or more ServerLists. Select one of the following options:

Screen 4 displays:
Use the Add, Add all, Remove and Remove all
buttons to move the objects from one column to the other.
Click Next to apply the selected
ServerTemplate to each selected Axway Server or ServerList.
The last screen displays the execution report with a line for each updated Axway Server.
Click Finish to close the Update Wizard.
To update one or more Channels, open the Tools menu in the Integration-Services workbench and select Update Wizard.
Screen 1 displays the options that you can select. Select Channel and click Next to continue.
Screen 2 displays the possible Templates that you can select to apply to each Channel Terminus that you want to update. Select a Template from each drop-down list.
Note: You can select "No Channel Template" if you want all parameters defined for the Template to disappear from the Channel definition.
Click Next to continue.
Screen 3 displays two columns:
Use the Add, Add all, Remove and Remove all buttons to move the objects from one column to the other.
Click Next to continue.
Screen 4 displays two panes:
Use the Add, Add all, Remove and Remove all buttons to move the objects from one pane to the other.
To remove all existing object values from the selected Channel(s), click the option Delete all object values.
Click Next to update the selected Channels.
The last screen displays the execution report with a line for each updated Channel.
Click Finish to close the Update Wizard.
