Creating a CommNetwork

To create a CommNetwork object:

1. In the Composer Topography workbench, select File > New > Topography > CommNetwork.
2. Composer displays the CommNetwork properties window.
2. Complete the following fields of the General tab:
   
   • Name: Enter a name for the CommNetwork
   • CommNetwork type: Select TCP from the drop-down list.
3. From the File menu, select:
   • Check to verify that all mandatory object definitions are correct.
   • Save to save the object definition in the Composer database.
   • Close to close the object properties window.
