Web Service Front-End

In order to consume a Web Service, a consumer application makes a call to a Web Service that is defined in a WSDL file on a remote server. When you use the Axway 5 Suite as a Web Service provider, WSDL files reside on a dedicated server application named the Synchrony Web Service Front-End. The role of Integrator in providing a Web Service is to execute the service operations that are defined in the WSDL files. To do this, Integrator communicates with the Web Service Front-End.

For details about the Web Service Front-End, refer to the Integrator Enabler Online documentation.
