Importing the Sentinel PassPort Tracked Object to Composer

Overview

Before you can deploy Sentinel objects for PassPort to a Sentinel environment, you must import them to Composer.

Locating the import file

PassPort provides you with an XML file that contains the description of the Sentinel objects that you use for monitoring PassPort from Sentinel. The name of this file is PassPortAudit_V2.xml.

After you install PassPort, you can find a copy of this file here:

<PassPort install directory>\conf\sentinel\

Importing to Composer

1. Connect to Composer.
2. In the Integration-Services workbench, select Tools > "Import object…"
3. Composer opens the Import wizard.
3. In the Import wizard window:
   • Navigate to the folder where PassPortAudit_V2.xml is located.
   • Select the file.
   • Click Next.
4. Define the import mode:
   • Select Update in the folder hierarchy.
   • Click Finish
5. Composer imports the PassPortAudit_V2.xml file and generates a set of Sentinel objects.
