Configuring Gateway for communication with PassPort PS
About PassPort PS
PS is short for PKI Server. PKI is Public Key Infrastructure. PassPort PS is a secured repository of certificates and SSH keys. Axway products use PassPort PS for security purposes to ensure ciphering data and digital signatures. PassPort PS binds on a socket to receive queries. Axway products query the PS server at will to obtain certificates and SSH keys.
Procedure
- Open a Gateway Navigator session.
- In the left pane of the Navigator main window, right-click the Gateway server that you want to configure and select Configure from the context menu.
- Navigator displays the Configuration window.
- Select Synchrony connectivity > PassPort.
- In the PKI services section:
- Select the option Use PKI services.
- Enter the PS server address.
- Enter the PS server access port (default = 7777).
- Click Apply and then click OK.
- Restart Gateway for the configuration changes to take affect.
