Creating a Messaging queue

Procedure

On the machine where Messaging is installed:

1. Open a command window.
2. Execute the profile file to export the environment variable:
   • UNIX: .$x_home_dir/runtime/etc/profile (do not omit the leading point ".")
   • Windows: %x_home_dir%\runtime\etc\profile.cmd
3. Execute the commands:
   • cmdxms.cmd
   • xmscre queue -i IG2GI -am SHARE
   • xmscre queue -i GI2IG -am SHARE
4. Messaging generates a queue with the name you enter in the command.
