After you install PassPort, check the following elements of the PassPort installation to ensure that PassPort can communicate with the other Axway products.
Open the passport. properties and the log4j.properties files. These files are located in the directory <PassPort install directory>/conf/. Using a text editor, add the information that enables PassPort to send audit details to Sentinel and to generate detailed logs in PassPort log files.
For example: log4j.logger.com.axway.passport.tools.am=debug, backup
The default PassPort user is labeled "system". This is the highest level of administration authority over PassPort. If you create another user account, be sure to grant an adequate set of rights to perform all the actions the user requires.
