Checking Sentinel parameters in CFT
After you have installed Transfer CFT you can check to see if the Sentinel connection parameters are correctly valued.
To view Sentinel-related parameter values in the GUI:
- Open a session in the Transfer CFT administration UI.
- In the object tree of the left pane, select Administration\Configuration parameters.
- The Unified Configuration screen is displayed.
- In the Search field at the top of the screen, enter sentinel and then click Search.
- The search returns Sentinel-related parameters, and displays their current values.
To view Sentinel-related parameter values via a command console:
The listuconf line command displays multiple technical parameters stored in the UCONF database.
- Open a command console.
- Enter an absolute path to the cftuconf user file (cftuconf.dat).
- This file must contain:
- cft.uconf.common_fname: The path to the default parameters
- cft.uconf.system_fname: The path to the override-system parameters
- Enter the command:
- CFTUTIL listuconf id=sentinel.*
- The console displays the Sentinel configuration values.
