Overview

User profile

DTAUS (DatenTrägerAustausch) is a file format used by German credit institutions to manage money exchanges between accounts. This format is used for exchanges between banks and banks, as well as between banks and their customers. DTAUS enables customers (mainly companies and associations) to easily manage monthly exchanges (fees and salaries and other kinds of bank payments) by grouping together a large number of bank operations in a standard way and handling them together.

Processing

For corporates, FEX provides services for the structural validation of DTAUS files. If necessary corporates can split a file into component elements and then route the components to the appropriate bank.

For banks, FEX enables the reception of files from partners and corporates and the validation of file structure. If necessary it permits file splitting and enveloping and file routing to applications in charge of processing.
