Overview

User profile

EBA STEP2 is a service provided by EBA CLEARING, which proposes a bulk payment solution in Euro. This enables banks to connect, create or receive payment files for the STEP2 system.

Provided services

Axway Financial Exchange enables connectivity through SWIFTNet and FileAct support of dedicated formats.

Processing

Payment messages are bulked into files (either directly by the payment application, or by Integrator) and then sent via SWIFTNet using the FileAct protocol (Axway Gateway and SWIFTAlliance Gateway, SWIFTNet interface).
The processing sequence is reversed for incoming messages.
