BAI2 (Cash Management Balance Reporting Specifications) offers a common format for exchanging data. By establishing an efficient mechanism for communication among multiple parties, the specifications facilitate complete, accurate, and timely information reporting, and help reduce the cost of providing this service.
This is a service that is available only to corporates, banks and service providers.
Axway Financial Exchange provides the message that support the BAI2 standard.
For corporates, FEX enables the reception of standardized files, validation of file structure; if necessary the corporate can split the file based on the account numbers, and then route the component files to different targeted applications.
For banks, FEX provides services that enable the sending of files from back-end applications, validation of file structure; if necessary splitting or enveloping of files based on account numbers and partner ID, then sending of files directly to the partner or delivery via SnF.
