Step 12: Setting the JAAS control flag for DefaultAuthenticator to OPTIONAL (WebLogic)

Set the JAAS control flag for DefaultAuthenticator to OPTIONAL as follows:

  1. Start the Bea server:
    In Windows select Start > Programs > Bea > User Projects > Ebics Server > Start Admin Server for Weblogic Server Domain
  2. Start the Bea Administration Console. In your web browser, enter the address:
  3. http://localhost:7001/console
  4. Login / password = weblogic / <your password>
  5. In the Administration Console left screen tree, navigate to security, and click realms > my realm.
  6. Click Lock & Edit.
  7. Select DefaultAuthenticator.
  8. Set the Control Flag value to OPTIONAL.
  9. Click Save and then Activate Changes.
  10. Note: Any additional AuthenticationProviders must also have their control "JAAS Control Flag" set to OPTIONAL.
