Banque de France tables in Axway Financial Exchange

You can use Axway Financial Exchange to transform payments from CFONB160 (French, national) to SEPA SCT (European, international) file format. For this transformation, the BIC code is required. One way of obtaining the BIC is by using the Banque de France repository.

In FEX, the Banque de France repository contains two tables:

• Etablissement (Bank Code)
• Guichet (Branch Code)

After installing FEX, you have to populate the Banque de France tables and keep them up to date.

Banque de France provides two different files:

• The Situation file, which contains the full list of banks and branches for a specific day.
• The Mouvements file, that contains only data differences from a reference date up until today.

FEX installation package add-ons

The FEX installation package includes the following add-ons that you can use to import data files (provided by Banque de France) to update the Etablissement and Guichet tables:

  • ip_bdf_insert_mouvements.xml

Banque de France data files for updates

Depending on your subscription, Banque de France periodically supplies you with a Mouvements or Situation data file that you can use to update the content of the Etablissement and Guichet tables. You can subscribe to Banque de France to receive one or both of these files.
