SV - Troubleshooting Server Validator
Summary
What actions should be taken when troubleshooting a Server Validator issue?
Details
When submitting a Server Validator case to Axway support, please do the following:
- Open the Server Validator config file vcapache.ini
- Scroll down to <LOG SECTION>
- Change the VC_LOG_LEVEL to VC_LOG_LEVEL=2 and save the file to enable debug logging.
- Stop Server Validator via Windows services or the command line.
- Restart Server Validator
- Reproduce the issue 3-5 times and note the time of reproduction.
- Upload the following files to an ST account provided by Axway support:
- vcapache.ini
- vcapache.log
- httpd.conf
- ssl.conf
- Let Axway support know that the files have been uploaded for review.
