FTDirect Admin interface is grayed out in IE8

Problem

When using Internet Explorer 8 to log into the Admin page for File Transfer Direct, the screen is grayed out and an error is displayed:

TypeError: Object required

The problem does not exist using other browsers or older versions of IE.

Solution

When using IE 8 to adminster FTDirect, you must enable the "compatability view" feature. 

There may be an icon to turn on compatability view (looks like a torn sheet of paper) to the right of your address bar.  If you do not see the icon, look for Compatability View settings under the Page and/or Tools menus.
