Change the Schedule Purge Frequency and How long old schedules are allowed to remain in the database before they are purged.

Problem

Change the Schedule Purge Frequency and how long old schedules are allowed to remain in the database before they are purged.

Resolution

You can modify the following file in order to change the behavior (the values are per user that executes SecureClient):
- For Unix-based systems:
$HOME/.axway/SecureClient/properties/config.scheduler.properties
- For Windows-based systems:
%APPDATA%\axway\SecureClient\properties\config.scheduler.properties

Values to change:

JobPurgeFreq=x
JobPurgeOlder=y

For “x” (Purge schedule frequency) you could use: 0 – never; 1 – each day, 2 – each week, 3 – each month.
For “y” (Purge schedule older than) you could use: 0 – regardless of age, 1 – one day, 2 – one week, 3 – one month.

In the below example, SecureClient would purge schedules every month that are older than one month:
JobPurgeFreq=3
JobPurgeOlder=3
