Problem

Encryption algorithm used in Secure Mailbox and Secure Folder.

Resolution

The current algorithm is RSA + AES, where:

   - RSA key size is configurable in Admin UI and can be 1024, 2048, and 4096 bits. It is the master key and unique for each MailGate node.

   - AES is 128-bit. It is used for encryption of packages on the storage.
