Steps to reset iDRAC6 root password

Resolution

1. Login to iDRAC with the default credentials  root/axway

2. On the left-hand menu, click on iDRAC Settings

3. Open the Network/Security tab and then select Users

4. Select the root account ID and then click Next

5. Enable the 'Change Password' check box first and type the new password

6. Click on Apply.
