Microsoft Security Updates December 2013
Important Note: If you are experiencing problems with the Windows Update not working after November 2013 updates and causes svchost.exe to run at 100% CPU, please review the following article on how to resolve the issue:

The updates below have been tested on the following products running on Windows 2003: Email Firewall (EMF) 6.5 and Secure Messenger (SM) 6.5. No problems were found during testing.
Critical Updates:
- MS13-097: Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer (KB2898785)
- MS13-098: Vulnerability in Windows Could Allow Remote Code Execution (KB2893294)
- MS13-099: Vulnerability in Microsoft Scripting Runtime Object Library Could Allow Remote Code Execution (KB2909158)
High Priority Updates:
- MS13-101: Vulnerabilities in Windows Kernel-Mode Drivers Could Allow Elevation of Privilege (KB2880430, KB2893984)
- MS13-102: Vulnerability in LRPC Client Could Allow Elevation of Privilege (KB2898715)
Moderate Priority Updates:
- Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - December 2013 (KB890830)
- Microsoft Security Advisory: Improperly issued digital certificates could allow spoofing (KB2917500,KB2916652)
- December 2013 cumulative time zone update for Windows operating systems (KB2904266)
Note: Axway tests all Critical, High (Important), and Moderate Priority Updates on the latest version of EMF (6.5) and SM (6.5) and on the most current supported windows platform only (Windows 2003 SP2 with SQL 2005 SP3).
