Unable to install / upgrade B2Bi / Integrator on AIX
Problem
- Unable to install B2Bi / Integrator on AIX 6.1 TL6 SP12 to AIX 6.1 TL9 SP2.- SP upgrade results into following error
ERROR :<date/time>:cfgserver(cfgembed(cfgmbc_systemporter)):SL_FILEIO.CreateTextWrite: failed to open file "/Axway/B2Bi/Axway/Synchrony/Integrator/data/porter/porter.mem": File exists
ERROR :<date/time>:cfgserver(cfgembed(cfgmbc_systemporter)):failed to prepare task 'HPCNSWDBUA_SystemPorterTask': SL_FILEIO.CreateTextWrite: failed to open file "/Axway/B2Bi/Axway/Synchrony/Integrator/data/porter/porter.mem": File exists
Resolution
(a) Set the environment variable permanently i.e. it should remain enabled all the time. The aixfopen.so files are attached.On 32 bits:
ALWAYS “export LDR_PRELOAD=/complete/path/aixfopen.so”
PLEASE DO NOT RUN ANYTHING IF THE VARIABLE IS NOT DEFINED
On 64 bits:
ALWAYS “export LDR_PRELOAD64=/complete/path/aixfopen.so”
PLEASE DO NOT RUN ANYTHING IF THE VARIABLE IS NOT DEFINED
(b) Re-install B2Bi/Integrator with relevant Service Pack from the scratch
