Purge while keeping recent transactions: improving purge speed
Problem
A purge of transfers, when the mailbox is large (several GB in size), runs very slowly when using the -kld (keep X last days) option.Resolution
This option requires Gateway to read every record, so for a large mailbox this can take a while. It is recommended in this case to use instead the -from_date and -to_date options.
