Problem

./Interchange/tools/externalConfigBackupRestore.xml is incorrect generated after installation. It is always generated with the base path as /home/Axway.

Resolution

The values shown are the default values in the file at the time of installation. These values are not modified by the installation. These values must be modified by the user to reflect the correct paths. Administrator's Guide also states this.

If your implementation includes custom configuration, you can use the externalConfigBackupRestore.cmd tool to back up and restore these customizations. The tool and the customizable externalConfigBackupRestore.xml file are located in the following directory: [trading engine install directory]\tools
1. Customize the externalConfigBackupRestore.xml file to include the appropriate paths to the custom components.
2. Run the externalConfigBackupRestore.cmd tool. The tool provides information on the available commands.
