Problem

-- is it possible to handle EDIFACT message when

-> UNOC is used as character set

and

-> UNA segment is not present

Resolution

* EDIFACT standards recommends to have the ISA segment defined when using UNOC

* if the EDIFAC message is processed by an Inbound EDIFACt agreement, it is failing in Integrator :

"Invalid service character(s)"

* however, B2Bi provides a way to handle such kind of messages :

- first, the EDIFACT message has to go through a Metadata Profile where the component "B2Bi Set Inbound EDI Separators" will be executed

- then the message can be processed using the usual EDIFACT Inbound agreements
