API Portal (Patch 2) Joomla! version 3.4.8

API Portal 7.4.1 Patch 2 fixes the following issues :-

  • Incompatibility issues with Joomla! version 3.4.8

Before, when Joomla! was upgraded either through API Portal Patch 1 or manually to version Joomla! 3.4.8, some users created after the upgrade could not login to API Portal. Also, users were unable to edit their account settings.
Now users are able to login to API Portal and to edit their profile.

  • User synchronization issue with API Manager

Before, if a user that had logged in through API Portal was deleted through API Manager, a different user with the same e-mail could not register through API Portal.
Now users can sign up with e-mails that have been used before.

  • XSS vulnerability

Before, the field displaying the application name in the OAuth settings of the “Try it” page was vulnerable to XSS attack.
Now the field is not vulnerable.”
