Resolution

* Ports from the ephemeral range (specific to each server) should not be used by B2Bi. Documentation will be updated accordingly.

* If ports from the ephemeral range are used, symptoms may be observed such as tasks stopping and trying to restart with errors "failed to bind socket: Address already in use" or "WARNING:20180614:09.23.10.51:r4edi(starter):process "XMLTask_969_1" terminated"

* to find the range of the ephemeral ports, run the command
> cat /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_local_port_range

* the ports used by B2Bi can be seen in $CORE_DATA/porter/porter.mem

* to change the ports used by B2Bi, run ConfigureB2Bi.sh and change the settings in "Configure Port Range"
