What is the lease time established for the manager node to decide to start / restart a node

Resolution

The 'lease' or 'lease-time' is a NFS notion, it is not a CFT parameter.

The lease-time is a parameter of the NFS server.

This corresponds to how often clients need to confirm their state with the server.

Usually the default value is about 30 or 90 sec.

This lease-time is the minimum duration required for CFT to detect a remote node failure.

The maximum duration to detect a node failure is the lease-time + uconf:copilot.node_manager.watchperiod
