Is Transfer Interpel compatible with z/OS 2.4?

Resolution

QA has been fully conducted on z/OS 2.3 for Transfer Interpel version 7.3.2 SP5.

At time of writing, no test have been conducted on z/os 2.4 but IBM guarantee the upward compatibility for this OS.

Axway will give high priority to fix any issue that may be directly linked to a compatibility with the OS.

If Transfer Interpel is to be used on z13 or higher architecture, it is highly recommended to apply the latest Service Pack (SP5) and the patch Q0435A delivered as an adrdssu + Xmit file.

- It fixes the ABEND 0C4 on commands (STARTX, LOOPX, etc..)

- It also address the spin loop issue reported when Z13 or higher running z/os 2.1 or higher.
