Update the Jre6 to Jre7 from the Axway installer 4.5
Problem
Security issue on Jre6 delivered in the installer 4.5.x
Resolution
Upgrade the Axway installer 4.5.x installed on the MServer and PServer with that procedure :
Download the upgrade pack of the installer from that link :
https://support.axway.com/en/downloads/download-details/id/1420191
Upload and uncompress that upgrade pack on the Mserver / Pserver
Execute that command from the upgrade pack :
updatejre.sh <directory1> -d
<directory1> is the directory where is installed the Axway Installer of the Pserver / Mserver ( directory where are the files update.sh, configure.sh..)
If you have this error message :
..
Jre7 is not available for the current OS.
..
So modify the file j7osv.dat from the upgrade pack and add the line corresponding to your OS, for exemple to allow the compatibility for Debian buster (v10) add this line :
Debian :* :* :10
Another exemple for CentOSLinux 7.9.2009 :
CentOS :* :* :7.9
After upgrade the Installer to Jre7 on the Pserver/Mserver , don't forget also to update the changes in the file j7osv.dat with these modifications under ..synInstall/res of the Axway Installer on the Pserver/Mserver .
You can remove the Jre6 directory from the Installer of the Pserver/Mserver under ..Java/linux-x86
The Pserver/Mserver will now use the Jre7 for the upgrade of the Automator Service Pack ou Patch .
