B2bi Messages are failing with did not receive expected synchronous receipt
Problem
In our application we are seeing multiple messages failing with the below error
Error(Description(Did not receive expected synchronous receipt in HTTP response), Response(200 OK), URL(http://b2bi.axway.com:8080/exchange/SYNCHRONY)).
In the logs we also see
Receiving party could not be determined. Check the payload for a valid receiver routing ID. Also, check for document parsing errors by searching the trading engine (TE) log files for ERROR or WARN entries with the words "parse" or "parsing."
Resolution
- Confirm that the partner is sending synchronous responses. If they're not, you can change the collaboration settings for the partner to asynchronous
- Confirm with your partner the routing ID's being used to identify the sender and receiver. If you get a response from the partner with unknown sender more than likely they are have configured different routingID
- if parsing files for sender and receiver, check the file for the sender and receiver being used and make sure they are set in the community and partner respectively
-You are able to add multiple routing ID's in your community and partner profiles but will only be able to select one default.
