Failed to Connect Proxy (403 Forbidden) While Publishing Usage via Traceability Agent on Amplify Platform
Problem
Encountering the following errors:
- `Post "https://platform.axway.com/api/v1/usage": failed to connect proxy, status: 403 Forbidden`
- `"message": "failed to publish events: Post "https://ingestion.visibility.eu-fr.axway.com:443": Forbidden`
These errors occur when the agent attempts to publish events to Usage Reports on https://platform.axway.com/.
The generic root cause is that the agent is failing to reach these endpoints when connecting via proxy.
Resolution
While using a HTTP based PROXY in Traceability Agent configuration you need to make sure that both Platform and Ingestion URLs are allowed from proxy.
Ingestion URL differs from region to region. Choose the one that applies to your Organization's region.
| US | ingestion.datasearch.axway.com:443 |
| EU | ingestion.visibility.eu-fr.axway.com:443 |
| AP | ingestion.visibility.ap-sg.axway.com:443 |
The URL for platform.axway.com is the same for all 3 regions:
| US | platform.axway.com:443 |
| EU | platform.axway.com:443 |
| AP | platform.axway.com:443 |
Complete list of communication ports and URLs that need to be open from PROXY are mentioned in the following documentation, Communication ports and URLs.
