Rights issue for JDE jobs

Problem

-- Even with a correct JDE job configuration under Automator (application server, user name, user password), and having the full rights on the JDE side for the user used in Automator, when trying to run a JDE job, we get the message "user does not have the authorization."


Resolution

2 Points to check:



* a mistype while entering the user/password. Note that sometimes, the password has to be updated on the JDE side. Do not forget to update this on the Automator side.



* the user/password do not appear in the F0093 table on the JDE side. This is mandatory because that is where Automator checks the user authorizations. The solution is to add this user in this table.
