Deleting a user

About

The user object is a child object of a customer object. It represents an account of a remote client that exchanges messages with a bank.

This procedure describes how to delete a user with its associated certificates, belonging to a preexisting customer.

Prerequisites

• The EBICS Server is configured to communicate with PassPort.
• You have rights to create banks and change customers in the EBICS Server user interface.
• A customer and a user exist, named respectively CUSTOMER1 and USER1 for this example.

Procedure

1. Open a session in the EBICS Server administration interface.
2. Navigate to the User menu and click Start change process.
3. Select User1 (for this example) and select Delete.
4. Click Save.
5. Click Terminate change.

Results

The EBICS Server deletes USER1.

The EBICS Server deletes in PassPort, all certificates and keys based on CUSTOMER1/USER1.
