Releasing user keys (EBICS V2.3)
About
The user object is a child object of a customer object. It represents an account of a remote client that exchanges messages with a bank.
This procedure describes how to release the keys of a user that have been sent to the server.
Prerequisites
- The EBICS Server is configured to communicate with PassPort.
- A customer and a user exist, named respectively CUSTOMER1 and USER1 for this example.
- A remote client has successfully sent its keys to an EBICS bank server.
Procedure
- Open a session in the EBICS Server administration interface.
- Navigate to the User menu and click Start change process.
- Select User1 (for this example) and select Edit.
- Select the Channel tab.
- Click Release.
- Click Save.
- Click Terminate change.
Results
The EBICS Server changes the user state to Released.
The EBICS Server sets the public keys of the entity that represents CUSTOMER1/USER1 in PassPort to Available.
