About Axway Database

Axway Database is a product of the Axway 5 Suite. It is powered by MySQL.

Axway Database includes:

• A pre-configured MySQL Server
• A set of administration scripts (starting, stopping, backups, and so on)
• The Axway Database Administrator's Guide, also available from the Axway Support website https://support.axway.com

Product requirements

The installation of Axway Database is optional. However, in many cases you require a database for product operations. The following table indicates database the requirements for Axway products, and specifies the databases you can use.
