About the Integrator Gateway CommAdapter
The Integrator Gateway CommAdapter provides the services that enable Integrator to exchange messages with Gateway.
This CommAdapter uses a dedicated processing task on the Integrator Server which we create as part of the procedure. This configuration step is optional, but it is recommended because it improves the performance of the Gateway connector by reserving dedicated processes.
The Integrator Axway Server object and CommNetwork must exist in Composer.
Field | Description |
---|---|
User |
Enter a user name for Gateway access. Default = Admin |
Password |
Enter a password for Gateway access. Default = no password |
Port number | Enter the port number for access to the directory that is shared between integrator and Gateway. |
Data exchange directory |
Enter the name and path of the directory shared by Integrator and Gateway. These must be the same values that you define for Shared directory in the Gateway configuration menu. |
Profile name |
Default = CSTCP The Profile name value identifies a single Gateway server instance for communication with Integrator. The Profile name attribute is deduced from the file: CORE_LOCALCORE_LOCAL is the path to the folder named ‘local’ which resides in your Integrator Server installation. /bin/csconfig.ini In this file, by default the Gateway connection section holds the value CSTCP. To enable Integrator to communicate with more than one Gateway, you must create a Gateway connection section in the csconfig.ini for each Gateway instance. To do this, you open the file in a text editor and duplicate the entire CSTCP section, specifying a different name and new set of Gateway connection parameters. The name you give to this new section (replacing "CSFTP") must correspond to the name of the Gateway instance as it is specified in the Gateway configuration file: <Gateway install directory>/run_time/etc/csconfig.ini After you modify the Integrator csconfig.ini file, the new Gateway name appears as a Profile name option in the Integrator Gateway CommAdapter configuration. |
