Stopping Axway Transfer CFT

The first time you start Transfer CFT, go to <Transfer CFT_install_directory>/runtime/] and run the script:
. ./profile
In the same session, enter the command:
cftstop

Windows (non-service mode)

Do one of the following:

Use the Windows menu

From the Windows Start menu, select All Programs > Axway Software > Synchrony Axway > Transfer_CFT > CFT administrative Mode > Shutdown CFT server

Use the command console

The first time you start Transfer CFT, go to <Transfer CFT install directory>\runtime\] and run the script:
profile.bat
In the same DOS session, enter the command:
cftstop

Windows service mode

During installation you can choose to run Transfer CFT as a Windows service. This causes the server to start and stop with the machine on which it is installed. When running Transfer CFT as a Windows service, the only visual clues of the server status outside of the user interface are the application log files and the services area of the Windows computer management window.

If you need to stop Transfer CFT with Windows running:

From the Windows Start menu, select Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
Windows displays the Services window.
Scroll down the Services list and right-click the Transfer CFT service.
From the context menu, select Stop.
