For SWIFT connectivity only, install Gateway on Windows, AIX or SUN.
Important: Gateway cannot be installed on HP-UX for SWIFT message handling because the SWIFT-delivered components do not support HP-UX.
You require a database if you use BIC+IBAN (for SWIFT or Banque de France repositories).
You can use your own third-party database software or Axway Database.
If you use a third-party database, install the database before you install Axway Financial Exchange.
The Axway Gateway add-on QT2 1.0.3 is delivered in the FEX 2.9.0 installation package. We strongly recommend you install QT2 1.0.3 SP3 or higher for AIX platforms and QT2 1.0.3 SP2 or higher for all other platforms. These service packs are available on the Axway Support website and include readme files with full instructions on the update procedure to be applied.
The uncompress utility used to install FEX must be able to handle path names that contain more than 100 characters.
This is important for AIX platforms as the default utility is not able to handle this. It is also important for JBoss deliveries.
