E-Mail put into the Dead Letter or Quarantine Queue has a date value of: 12/31/69 04:00:02 PM

Symptom:
- Mail is date/time stamped with the value: 12/31/69 04:00:02 PM
- Mail is in the Dead Letter or Quarantine Queue
- You can view the original RFC-822 message and it will not include the DATE Header
- If you pass the Mail through it will not have a DATE value
- Certain Clients and Mail Servers will append their own Date value when it receives the message

Detailed Information:
MMS by default uses a display date of: [12/31/69 04:00:02 PM] for messages missing the DATE Header. This is just a for display purposes and does not affect the message DATE.

Certain Mail Systems, Firewalls and Clients have the capability to remove certain headers from messages. They also have the capabilty to exclude certain headers when delivering or relaying mail.
