Summary:
If the Spam Analysis Engine service does not have a valid filter available when it starts, it will generate an overlapped I/O error, both on the display and within the NT event view application log.

Resolution:
The Spam Analysis Engine service should be stopped. If it is not, please stop it, and then restart the Dynamic Anti-Spam Update service. Allow ten or fifteen seconds for the filter to be downloaded and try to restart the Spam Analysis Engine service.
