How to append to a Mainframe GDG dataset?

In the Transfer Site, in the Send Options section, put the below expression in the "Send file as" field and enable the checkbox in front of the field:

DIR1.DIR2.DIR3.SOMEFILE(+1)

With the (+1) prefix the file should be correctly added to the GDG dataset.
