More detailed information is required while troubleshooting FTD issues. In most cases, DEBUG mode must be enabled for FTD dev log file :

/opt/axway/FTDirect/nodeExecutive/runtime/<hostname>-1/logs/<hostname>-1.dev.log

To enable DEBUG mode for dev log file, please follow the procedure described below:

1. Open file

/opt/axway/FTDirect/nodeExecutive/conf/logging.properties

2. Change the line

log4j.logger.com.axway=INFO

  to line

log4j.logger.com.axway=DEBUG

3. Save the file
4. Restart FTD server.
