--How can the Subject header for outgoing AS2 or AS3 transfers be set?

Resolution

The Subject header in AS2 and AS3 is borrowed from the SMTP spec, and hence in Gateway it is implemented as an SMTP option.

* For an interactive transfer via Navigator,go to the SMTP tab and fill in the field labeled "email subject."

* For a transfer invoked using the peltrans command, use the -smtp_subject (or just -subject) option followed by the subject.

* In either of these cases, you can instead use a model with the "smtp subject" argument set.

Note: for Gateway 6.12.2, you must be running SP14 or higher for this option to be available.
