-- Gateway is not configured by default to automatically cancel outgoing transfers that remain in To Begin, even if the maximum retries limit is reached.

-- To cancel a transfer base on the maximum retries limit set at remote site level, the advanced parameter cancel_transfer_on_max_site_retry_reached must be set to 1.
This parameter can be set from the Gateway configuration/Advanced Options.

-- To cancel a transfer based on the age of the transfer, one can use the transfer parameter, date_to_end (YYYYMMDD HHMMSS). If the date and time specified in this parameter is reached and the transfer is still in To Begin, it will be canceled automatically.
