Deleting a Routing ID is not updated in the Trading Engine (TE)

Problem

-- After deleting Routing ID from a partner/community, the routing ID is still linked to that partner in the TE

-- Messages are still being routed to that partner, instead of failing (or being routed to a new partner, if Routing ID was moved)

-- Routing ID had a ""ebXML party ID type/cXML domain"" type set (e.g. EDI)

-- Routing ID is not properly updated in the Trading Engine (TE)

Resolution

** Due to a bug, the Routing ID is kept in the cache of the TE

A restart of the Trading Engine fixes the issue, or:

  1. Delete the Routing ID with the type from the partner
  2. Recreate the Routing ID without a type on the same partner
  3. Delete the Routing ID again from the partner

** Issue will be fixed for Interchange 5.10.1 SP8 and higher (incident 111183)
