Digital signature was not found in the certificate database
Problem
When attempting to connect to the remote site, the following message is observed "Digital signature was not found in the certificate database"
Resolution
This message usually appears when no certificate has been selected to authenticate to the remote site. In such cases, it is recommended to check the following configurations:
• Navigate to Tools -> Preferences -> Security Setting, and make sure the "Use Windows Certificate" option is selected.
• Switch to the "Security" tab of the site, and ensure the "Activate SSL Security" is checked, and that the correct certificate is selected.
• In case you are using a USB token, please make sure it is always connected to the computer. Otherwise, please confirm that the certificate is imported into the Windows Store.
