using the official product release ?
Problem
-- unexplained errors during installation
Ex :
$ ./setupUNIX.sh Install
./setupUNIX.sh: line 30: /mnt/iso/Software/Tools/df/dflinux-x86-32: Input/output
error
There is not enough space in the directory : /opt/tmp/tmp. The temporary storage nee
ds 200 MB of free space. Please set the environment variable TEMPORARY_DIR.
but there is enough space on the disk !...
-- unexplained errors when using the product (not replicated on a similar environment)
-- question... how to be sure I am using the official GA release and not a beta release that was finaly rejected ?
Resolution
* find in axway sphere (www.support.axway.com) the product ISO delivery (download -> <your product> -> type "Install"
* check the File MD5 Checksum in the General Information (right panel)
* go back to the machine where the iso file has been uploaded
* execute the command
> md5sum <the name of the iso file>
* compare both checksums
* if the checksums are different, it means that you are not using the official release. Download the ISO file again and reinstall the product
