This Axway Knowledgebase article states that the "pelmon reset" command should be run when the gatestatus command indicates an error. What exactly does this command do, and can it be run while Gateway is processing transfers?

Resolution

This command sends a restart signal to Gatecontroller. In turn, this causes Gateway to update its internal status, and to restart any necessary Gateway subprocesses. It has no effect on processes that are still running, and therefore can be used even when there are active sessions.
