Problem

An error is reported trying to upgrade packages to the latest versions on an Appliance.

e.g.

Resolution

All versions of the Oracle Linux Appliance require just one repository for their updates in file /etc/yum.repos.d/kingsofsoa-vordel.repo Either disable or delete all other repositories files in directory /etc/yum.repos.d. Disable by changing variable "enabled=0" in repository files.

Note that previous versions of the Appliance came with /etc/yum.repos.d/public-yum-el5.repo and /etc/yum.repos.d/dell-omsa-repository.repo
