Resolution

* There was zero impact on the API Gateway with the previous leap second in 2012 and we don’t expect there to be any impact this time based on enhancements we have made since 2012. The leap second is really OS dependent and the API Gateway simply receives the time from the OS.

As such, we recommend following the OS vendor's guidance to ensure that everything is up to date and monitoring the system time to ensure that it remains correct and consistent across all nodes. Users of Red Hat may wish to refer to: https://access.redhat.com/articles/15145
