Problem installing Interplay Service Pack on WebSphere

Problem

This issue occurs when we try to install an Interplay Service Pack on WebSphere.

The error messages from install.log file is:

ERROR PassPort, AISuite, InterPlay, installation disabled because parent product Administration installation failed.


Resolution

In order to solve the problem, you have to:

  1. Edit the file <Install_Dir>/Configuration/Install_Infrastructure_V4.6.0.properties file/
  2. Comment the line : TomcatDir = <Install_Dir> / Tools / apache- tomcat /
  3. Launch the script update64.exe from the installation directory (in order to apply the Service Pack).
